The Confessional Lutheran Institute (CLI) exists to equip, enhance, and enable African pastors within the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference (CELC)- member churches throughout Africa.
To accomplish this, the CLI seeks to engage the active pastors of these churches through formal continuing education and informal professional development opportunities. The CLI also provides seminary consultation to equip the worker training systems within these church bodies for the training of their own future pastors.
Rev. Dan Witte
Rev. John Holtz
CLI education has given me an opportunity to explore ways on how I can communicate to my people using day to day communication while remaining on the lane of pure gospel.
My desire for higher education is not motivated by prestige, although this is an ever-present temptation that comes from our sinful nature. I desire to pursue higher education as long as there is breath and ability in me in order that I may teach God’s Word with excellence
The book about the Bible which Pastor Witte recommended we study together weekly is the best theology book I have ever read. It clarifies so many things.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
